The Gold Coast Airport's newly refurbished terminals boasts every modern convenience for passengers and the single level building ensures access to convenient facilities for passengers and visitors alike.
International visitors requirements are catered for with the Travelex currency exchange booth conveniently located beside the Transport and Information Desk in Terminal 2, offering a comprehensive selection of currencies.
International passengers leaving the country from Gold Coast Airport, may wish to visit the Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS) facility in the international departure lounge to claim a tax refund on goods purchased in Australia. The refund only applies to goods you take with you as hand luggage when you leave the country.
Toilet facilities are available throughout the terminal and include unisex baby change facilities, making life easier for all families on the Gold Coast or visiting the airport.
Gold Coast Airport is dedicated to ensuring all areas of the airport are as accessible as possible for people with special needs. Located directly beside the walkway access in the short term car park are clearly marked disabled parking spaces. The airport has a number of disabled toilet amenities along with brail signage to these facilities for the vision-impaired.
Wheelchairs are available upon request from individual airlines. Please see the friendly staff located at the terminal should you require assistance.
Public telephones can be found at various points throughout the terminal including the international departures lounge. Phone cards may be purchased at the NewsLink store.
Passengers can surf the net or send off a last minute email before departing at the Internet Kiosks outside Coffee @ Kirra.
Luggage trolleys can be picked up in the terminal beside baggage collection (both domestic and international) and outside in our car park.
NewsLink store has a small range of pharmaceutical products should you have any last minute medical needs and also has a variety of other products from magazines to toys.
